Steam package 688751 is the $29.99 standard game. Package 1553400 is the $49.99 Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Upgrade is a separate Steam app, 5167410, priced at $19.99 and requires the base game. Those three numbers are the commerce map.

Deluxe extras are cosmetic plus future quest packs: four Fancy Hero skins, the Soul cape, Blub, DLC 1, and DLC 2. The upgrade is the same extras without paying for the campaign twice. If you already own Standard, the upgrade is the cheaper Deluxe path.

Xbox Game Pass includes the Standard Edition on Xbox Series X|S and Windows. Game Pass does not, on the captured Xbox.com copy, include the Deluxe extras. Buy Deluxe or the upgrade if you want Blub, the Soul cape, and the later DLC windows.

Four Fancy Hero skins ship with Deluxe. They are launch cosmetics, not a fourth difficulty. The Soul cape is the Deluxe cape for facing soul-infused mobs. Blub is the Deluxe pet: official copy calls it a squishy companion that cannot fight.

Pre-order had a different bundle: Twisted Cape, Twisted Chicken pet, and two hero skins. The Capes & Promos article says those are no longer available through purchase. Do not expect the Deluxe SKU to restore a closed pre-order.
