How do I enter the Sift?
Find a rift on the Overworld and walk through it. Official copy does not give a camp button or a warp item. The interconnected Overworld replaces the old mission table, so the rift is a place you travel to, not a menu row.

The Sift is the new Minecraft Dungeons II dimension. Rifts open across the Overworld, and stepping through one carries the party into an uncharted layer of souls, threats, and named ground such as the Meadow and the Carapace. Official copy calls it the first new Minecraft dimension in more than fourteen years. Use these launch facts to enter the Sift without mixing it with Overworld biomes or Deluxe cosmetics.
Dimension records
Entry is a rift, not a camp menu. Official news and the gameplay systems article both say rifts open across the Overworld, and walking through one sends the party into the Sift. That is the whole travel rule at launch: find a rift on the interconnected surface, step through, and you have left the Overworld layer.
The Sift is not a reskin of a Deep Dark cave. Store and about-page copy treat it as a new dimension with its own threats and beauty. Use Overworld travel to reach the rift, then treat the far side as a separate atlas. If a friend is already inside, party travel still follows the four-player co-op rules on the co-op page.
Keep the rift in mind when you plan a loadout. Soul-themed tools such as the Twisted Tooth talisman, which raises souls gained by 40% at level 1 on the official inventory screenshot, are meant for this layer as much as for Overworld packs. You still equip them in the twelve-slot board before you jump.
Steam news, the gameplay systems article, and the about page all describe the same door: a rift on the Overworld. There is no camp button that warps you there. If a party is already inside, mixed co-op and party codes still apply; the dimension does not replace those four-player tools. Bring the twelve-slot board before you step through, because the far side is a separate atlas.
Two Sift places have first-party names: the Meadow and the Carapace. The about page lists them with the dimension. Steam’s achievement list adds Carapace Explorer, so the Carapace is also a tracked location, not only flavor text.
A gameplay article names a quest that pursues the Twisted Warden. The Minecraft LIVE peek describes that foe as a slow, heavy Deep Dark boss. That is the only boss identity tied to the Sift in launch copy. Later patches can add more named ground; launch records stop at the Meadow, the Carapace, and the Twisted Warden.
Friend of the Sift sits on the Steam achievement board as a hidden row. Hidden rows have no public description yet, so the unlock text stays empty. Use the achievements table if you are hunting the 32 Steam icons rather than the dimension facts.
Carapace Explorer on Steam is the public proof that the Carapace is a tracked location. Friend of the Sift is a hidden row, so its unlock text is empty. The Twisted Warden is the only named Sift boss in the captured set, described as slow and heavy in the LIVE peek and as a quest target in the gameplay article.
The spectral forest still is the Sift evidence image: pale figures, cyan energy, and dark trees. The rift-portal still shows a bright tear in a saturated landscape. Those two shots are the visual contract for this page. Combat-orange caves and flooded party caverns belong to other routes so this dimension keeps its own pictures.
The reveal trailer on the Minecraft YouTube channel is the motion version of the same idea. Watch it if you need to see a rift open rather than read the row. The gameplay trailer on the homepage is the broader combat reel and is not repeated here.
Because the Sift is a new dimension, layout knowledge from the first Minecraft Dungeons does not port. Treat each visit as unmapped until you have walked the Meadow or the Carapace yourself, then use fast travel on the Overworld side to return to the rift you want.
ss00 is the spectral forest still and ss03 is the rift-portal still. Those two shots are assigned to this route. Combat-orange caves and flooded party caverns belong to other pages. The reveal trailer on YouTube is the motion version of the rift opening, mounted below the entry section.

Build the twelve-slot board before you take a rift. Four armor pieces, two weapons, three artifacts, and three talismans is the launch layout. Unlimited recharging ammo means a projectile weapon can stay on the bar the whole dive. Jump attacks matter if a Sift interior uses vertical rooms; the systems article calls out parkour beside dodge rolling.
Co-op changes the risk. A four-player party can mix couch and online players, so a rift on one console can still pick up remote allies. Party codes skip matchmaking if you already have a group. Official co-op copy never says the Sift blocks those party tools.
Deluxe DLC is not required to enter the Sift. DLC 1 and DLC 2 are upcoming Deluxe packs with later windows. Launch access to the dimension is part of the base game that shipped on 29 September 2026.
Projectile weapons recharge their own ammo, so a bow can stay on the bar for the whole dive. Four armor pieces and three talismans change how you spend the twelve slots compared with the first game. Deluxe DLC windows in late 2026 and early 2027 are not a key to this dimension; launch access shipped with the base game on 29 September 2026.

The gameplay article names a quest pursuing the Twisted Warden, and the LIVE peek calls it a slow, heavy Deep Dark boss. That is the captured identity. Health values and attack names were never published, so they are omitted.
No. The Sift is part of the base sequel. Deluxe adds skins, the Soul cape, Blub, and two later DLC packs. Those packs are dated as windows in late 2026 and early 2027, not as the key to the dimension.
